5 easy miles.

I don't like winter.  I've been dragging my feet when it's time to get outside...and the time-wasting just makes my life more difficult.

ah, i don't like winter either. it takes me 10-15 extra minutes to get out the door -- it takes forever to suit up in 10 layers, and then i dawdle around trying to muster up the courage to open the door and head out into the freezing tundra.

nice job getting out there. these runs will make us appreciate the summer so much more!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! The sad thing is, I do the same thing in the summer too--if I don't get out for a run straight out of bed, I put it off until right before I go to bed, so I can run when the sun's down!

So this week I'm trying to run after school b/c running before makes it like 20 degrees and below. Super annoying. Well afternoon is almost worse b/c I have to come home from work and I'm outside and then I have to make the decision to go back outside and run. LOL

And therein lies the problem for me too...

My school is in the middle of a cornfield (literally), so there is nothing to block the wind. Sometimes I wrestle with my own mind when I walk out the back door and the wind buffets me when I'm on the way to the car. I just need to stop being so wimpy.

Yes where I work there are corn fields with in a block (it is buidling up some but not much)

Nice job getting out there. Don't know how you guys that have real winters do it. I get irritated when it goes below 40 and I have to put on long sleeves.
