First workout of this training cycle - 3 mile w/u, 8 x 1 mile at threshold w/1:00 jog between, 3 mile c/d. Times were:
5:40, 5:35, 5:31, 5:31, 5:30, 5:30, 5:28, 5:19
Pretty controlled effort throughout until pushing the last one a bit. Good to come in under 5:20, and that one was into a slight headwind too. Let's see if I can get into 2:30 marathon shape by April.
