Working at home today so waited until late in the morning when it was sunny and high 30's then ran 7 miles with Kim, mostly down in the river bottoms. Kim was doing some quarters so I hung back and kept it easy while she did her speedy stuff.

Felt OK on this my longest run since before the injury. Still feel sluggish and out of shape but I know in time the legs will come back.  With the 3 days in a row running and this long run I'll take tomorrow off. The sun and temps were dandy today.

Way to rack up the mileage. The new and improved Tom is just around the corner.

Also BF running may be the proper way that our body was ment to run, however, it is very very difficult to get our feet that have been protected with socks and shoes our entire lives to get use to sidewalks and pavement without injury. I feel like I'm pushing the limits with just one mile.

Yeah Terry when I talked to my phys therapist at BF running he said to be VERY careful and VERY patient and work up slowly. He said transition to BF should be a multi-year effort not multi-month/week. He also pointed out that those BF running indians do most their running on dirt not asphalt.
