Those were the days my friends, I thought they would never end, without who? Hey, your good conditioning shows, easy 8:30s after yesterday's run. How are you feeling about STG?

Thanks Allie and Brent. I feel pretty good going into SGM although I'm not quite where I've been other years as far as being able to hold the faster paces for extended periods of time. I've been a bit conservative on both speed and mileage this year to try and get out of the constant injury mode of the last couple years. It seems to have worked, healthwise I feel pretty darn good. But I suppose I've had to sacrifice some speed and conditioning with the conservative approach but I don't mind. I just want to get to the starting line of SGM on fresh legs and just run a smart race. I'm not worrying about the sub-3 this year, mainly just want to run a smart race that I feel good about, which should translate into sub 3:10 and a PR. Of course as you know there are no guarantees come race day, you take what you get.
