This was a really crappy week of running for me, but I was excited to do this race.  This was the third race in the series and my favorite so far.  I intended to use this as a marathon effort tempo and I think I did that pretty well.  Split were all over the place as expected on trails. 

(I just figured out how to embed and I'm pretty excited about that!) 

Final pace was a tad slower than goal marathon pace (9:13 vs 9:09), but since this was on trails at 6800', the effort was certainly there.

Great race Tina! I really enjoyed this event last year. The course is tough though! To get that close to marathon pace is great.

Nice job! That's a fun course - definitely impossible to keep anywhere near even pacing. Like the pic from the newspaper!
