I woke up and my foot hurts today. -- It is the same old tendonitis that I've had before.  Not sure why it didn't hurt at all after my Saturday run or when I woke on Sunday.  Maybe it was the shoes I wore yesterday....

no run at lunch at least and if it doesn't feel better by evening, then I'll bail on that one too.

Foot pain bites! I know.

What part of the foot hurts? I hope it heals up quickly. At least you have finished the heaviest part of your training for your upcoming marathon, so you can back off a bit and still be ready. Runners World had a good article either this month or last month about one of the collegate champions who had something like that right about this same time in his training. He kept up the intensity, but cut way back on the miles the last few weeks before the race and ended up PRing and winning.

it is similar to what I've had in the past - feeling 90% today but I'm skipping again -- blah

I'm going to try a run tomorrow and see what happens
