Felt ok last night.  I ran after work in the cold and windy dark. 
It turns out that running with my knees up and taking full strides will take some time  - my other, shuffling stride, is such a habit. However, I'll need to put forth the effort and figure this out if I want to progress.  At least that is what my coach says.  :)

Progress?? It would be cool to see you at the Olympic Trials! I'm not sure there are too many people who have ever shed 70 pounds and run sub 3:00 marathons. It's fun watching you progress. I still can't get over 6:15/mi for 26.2 miles -- I might do that for one..with the wind!
