Today I did a tempo run with Neal and Pete. We did four miles. My time was 21:49. My mile splits were 5:27, 5:17, 5:17, and 5:35. (approx.) I didn't feel very good, but it was okay. Neal was around 21:10-21:15. I was with for almost three miles until I fell back. I think with a couple more weeks of mileage, I can do much better on the tempo runs. It will also be easier when I have my flats and spikes, considering my workouts the past two weeks have been on my normal shoes. (I left my spikes and flats at home.) I warmed up 3.25 and cooled down 4.75.
