Around 7:00 pace. It felt okay. I was hurting, sore at the beginning and felt a little sick to my stomach, but I pushed it and finished my last half mile in 6:20 pace. (Which was mostly steep uphill.) My miles were: 8:19 7:20 6:35 7:02 7:11 7:10 and 6:24 (pace). In the first couple of miles, there was quite a bit of snow/ice I had to run through, so those would of been faster. Today is the first day of my "official track season" training, and I had to tell myself to push harder on some spots when I felt sick and wanted to stop. Every run I have to do that to practice for races. |
