This morning, me, coach, shalaya, and ethan ran about 3.5 miles. It felt good, and we ran it pretty easy. After school I had a workout all alone. I say that, because Morgan, Ben, and Isaac were all gone so the closest to me was Brett and no one was even close to pushing me. That was fine, because I was still able to push hard. The workout was 800 600 400 200 200 400 600 800. Coach said to try for goal mile race pace. I did 2:18 1:44 68 30 28 67 1:43 2:13. This workout was very hard, but very good. I started out, and it felt good, but I was getting tired near the second half. The 67 started out at a 32, but I knew I had to save something for the last two intervals. On the 600, I kept it on pace, but didn't really have much left on the last kick. On the 800 I really pushed it, and came through the 400 at 67. On the last lap I really pushed it and ran the last 200 in 32. The last interval was very good and I finished very strong. |
