Running Accomplishments:

PRed in Malibu Nov. 2009 with a 4:00:25, I think.  Shy of sub-4 hours and shy of BQ 3:45.

Other marathon times:

May 2009: Orange County (4:21) and LA (4:15)

Feb. 2010: Surf City (4:09)

Took a couple years off from running in 2013-2014. Haven't done any marathons since 2011 though I started doing half marathons again in 2017.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Still want to qualify for Boston (3:55).

Want to qualify for the NYC Marathon by running a 1:42 half marathon.

Upcoming Races

Long Beach Half Marathon Oct. 8

Surf City Marathon Feb. 2018--I'm training to try to BQ.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to keep running marathons into my 70s.

5 in 48 min. in the morning.  Then ran a little with a friend on an indoor track in the afternoon.  My knees didn't like that.

My Garmin tanked between runs AGAIN, so I just ran the same 5 miles I did on Tuesday.  Since I had a hard pilates class last night that made my inner thighs sore, I just ran this 5 nice and easy in about 50 minutes.  Knees felt ok.

Did 5 miles after work in about 50 minutes.  Knees a little sore now.  Probably won't run tomorrow since I'm at my max for the week.  Will lift upper body weights instead.
