Ran down to 1000 East 7300 South, then over on Creek road to Highland. Then up to 9400 S and home. Started out feeling OK but I felt super great at the end. It was nice to take it a little easy today. My average pace was relatively slow - 8:10.

Getting that motivation back yet? I run because it makes me feel healthier and it's fun. I've met a whole lot of cool people through running.

I have gone a long time without racing, so that may be part of it. Yeah, I feel so much healthier, energetic, and well rounded. So I'll keep it up. Good job in you keeping up with it, too. That will be great if you do the Mesquite Marathon.

How is the training going? I'm sure you probably have done this, but be sure to get in a few good runs on some downhill, since St. George really works your quads. Too often people haven't trained their legs for all the downhill running.

Hi Dustin. I'll have to be sure and do some downhill runs. I did some recently but need to do longer downhill runs. Thx for the tip. I hope your shin starts feeling better soon.
