Have been really sore, so when I got home from my trip tonight, I ran 5 on the treadmill. The average pace was about 8:40. Nice and easy. This might be the start of a taper until my race on July 4, so I can try to get over this soreness.

What's your goal time for the 10k?

From Steve Piccolo on Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 21:56:20 from 66.60.123.236

Well, last year I ran it in 51:00. So anything better than that would be an improvement. I would really love to run 40:00 and will be trying for that, but it's a pretty tough course, so I will just do the best I can and see where it gets me.

Hope you start feeling better Pic. The race should be good for you. I'm pretty sore you will run a lot faster than 51.

You may be able to pull that off. Good luck. The reason why I haven't been running is because I haven't felt good. I need to get back out. I wrecked my bike last week and my ribs hurt. I don't know if it's because of the wreck or because of the sick.
