| | 5.5 miles, but my GPS stopped after the first mile. I restarted it before the 2nd mile. For the measured portion of the run, my average pace was 12:36/mi and 125bpm. Temperature warmed up to freezing (32 degrees) this morning. | Add Comment |
| | GPS and heart monitor worked well today for these measurements: 5.5 miles in 1:07:53 for an average pace of 12:21/mi and a heart rate of 126bpm. At 32 degrees, the sidewalks were especially slick. Due to the lack of traction, I think I did more slipping backwards than sliding forward. A trace of snow fell last night, but we still haven't received loads of snow like in years past. | Add Comment |

5.5 miles in 46:14 for an average pace of 8:24/mi and an average heart rate of 157bpm. (Max 6:16 and 175bpm). 175bpm may be my highest legitimate heart rate. Since I started moistening the heart rate monitor when I put it on, it has behaved much better.

| | Family reunion time at a mansion in Herriman, UT. I escaped out early into the cold weather and ran down the hill and back up again. From where the house was situated, it wasn't possible to run uphill first. It was a bad day to have a non-functional GPS, but I ran the same route plus one mile today to find out what I did on Saturday. For a Saturday, it was a pretty easy run. But at 19 degrees, it was plenty cold. | Add Comment |
