I haven't been keeping this up to date. This morning I did my 30 minute treadmill routine, which I've done a few times because it's not worth reporting. I went to see the orthopedic surgeon this morning who diagnosed my foot injury as a stress fracture. He poked and pushed on my foot and really made it hurt, and it's still hurting. The X-ray showed some extra bone growth, but the stress fracture couldn't be seen. It's time for some new running shoes with extra arch support and gradually build up my mileage again. It's also time for cross training. But the streets are still so packed with snow that I don't feel very safe on my bike.
