4.65 miles in 42:05 or 9:02 per mile. No big deal, but just part of slowly ramping back up after the marathon. I don't feel hardly any ill effects from the marathon any more. I need to come up with a new training plan, but I know it includes more than I'm doing now. As I left this morning, I noticed Jupiter, near the horizon in the west. Then I searched for the Big dipper and the north star, both very dim by comparison. I have been observing the Orion constellation for months, which is much easier to find than the big dipper, but, I finally know what it is. Well that explains it. My star gazing is slowing me down.
