The weather site on the computer again told me it was -2 degrees. The first thermometer on my run said 0 degrees and the second one was at +3 degrees. I dressed in my warmest clothes and survived. I slipped and fell on the ice, but it didn't even hurt. I have to learn to run in this kind of weather, resort to the treadmill, or pay time and money to run on an indoor track. Running in the frigid weather may be my best option. I at least had to try, and I'm not sorry. I'd probably get colder with a longer run.
Decent speeds, in spite of the ice and snow: 4 miles in 34:17 for an average pace of 8:34/mile. |
