Another visit to Jen today, this time taking Todd with me. Janis and Alicia were there too, so we had to take turns a bit. She's gonna fight this, no doubt. Hasn't seen the doc yet in 48+ hours. Before that, 106 lovely laps at MAFC at a decent pace.

I'd planned to run before work today, but got really, really nauseated around lunch. By the time that subsided, we were hiring a new football coach. Then the early call to work. So no run.

Another run at MAFC, this time 10 miles plus a lap (forgot to click one lap in the final mile). Figured it might be an until run, and that was about right. I got called while I was getting ready for the post-run shower. Maintained low-9 pace for 8 miles, then put the hammer down for the last 2+. Actually felt fairly comfortable at that pace.

Jen is upset that the doctor wants to change all her meds. I understand some of her concern, but it's not like the other meds were working all that well; that's why she's there now. Anyway, looks like her discharge will be delayed a while while meds adjusted. Which is probably just as well.

This time next week, I'll be driving back from South Carolina with T. He told me today he thinks he'll take some core classes at UAFS this fall instead of going back to UA. Might not be a bad idea, and it will be cheaper, since he can live at home. Then go back to UA in the spring.

Easy 7 at MAFC before work. Loosened up OK after the first 3. I think I averaged about 9:20 overall. Then I found out a few minutes later that Jen was out of the hospital and already back in town, which was a relief. That'll cut my stress level way down right there.
