Need to go back and update for Tuesday...
Took Wednesday off from running because of mattress delivery and the fact I was up too late Tuesday night :) Then last night at work, I found out my schedule at work changes immediately: Instead of 10 to 10, I'm now 1 to 1, possibly becoming 2 to 2. Which is OK; it gives me more time for daylight runs before work. But to change schedules in the middle of the workweek is kinda weird. It's happened, though, so deal with it. Got to work today at like 12:52.
So this morning, after sleeping to 9:30, I did 8.3 easy on the SHS/Cliff/Free Ferry loop. AHR probably around 130, so needed to slow down a little, but I didn't want to dawdle out there too much. It was also a little warm; climbed into the 50s during the run.
So now I have 11 hours of work left. We'll see how this works. The change came down as an edict from the CEO to get more daytime coverage. So swing shift was eliminated, that doc moves to days, and I shifted later basically to take over swing shift. |
