Personal:

I'm 64, retired RN, happily married, nana to 14 beautiful grandchildren, mother to 6 children (1 daughter, 5 sons) who are kind, hardworking, caring, wonderful people! Wish they live closer!!!  :)  :)  :)

Picked up running in 2005 at age 50, to stay healthy so I can take care of my husband who had endocarditis resulting in AVR and MVR in 2004, end stage renal failure in 2014, kidney transplant on Dec 30, 2015.  Six months after the kidney transplant, we discovered that he has a rare auto-immune disease that was probably triggered in 2004 with then the undiagnosed infective endocarditis.  The doctors had to make up a name for this rare disease, Monoclono Gammopathy with Renal Significance (MGRS).  It is not curable.  After desperately trying different chemotherapies, the doctor finally found one immuno-therapy, Daratumamab, that works to treat the MGRS.  It is a miracle!!!

Grateful for the gift of life, blessings, dear friends and loved ones!!! Thankful for the ability to move, walk, jog, and yes run!!!!

Oh how fun that would've been! It is finally getting hot down here, and it feels good - until you try to run in it! :) Glad you got a good spoiled vacation. Enjoy the 1/2 tomorrow.

Rhett ~ We have been going to Sun Valley for the UBA Convention over the last 10+ years. We have always taken our family with us as there were plenty of things to do for the whole family, white water rafting, horse back riding, golfing, biking, hiking, swimming, flyfishing, evening entertainments such as the ice show and outdoor movies. They had a carnival 3 years ago when Wells Fargo had a banker served as Chairman. They always have great Bingo prizes too. Anyway, this year none of our kids were available so it was kinda different but I still enjoyed it very much!

Rachel ~ It was so relaxing! I didn't want to come home! I almost forgot I have a 1/2 to run tomorrow! The shirt is very nice! It is a Nike gender specific tech shirt! and the xs fits me perfectly!

Kathie ~ I bought me some ski gloves and socks and my boys ski poles. Sun Valley is a ski resort. They were all 50% off so I still have half of my 100 bucks left. Actually we paid with our visa so I still have the $100 cash in my wallet! Larry calls it double dipping! :)

Nancy ~ Sun Valley is so beautiful I wish they had a marathon!

Allie ~ Bill Cosby is 73 years old and he was still going strong making us laugh for 2 hours straight! He was hilarious! :)
