I'm new to running scene.  My father, brother and brother-in-law have all ran marathons, so I thought I'd give running a try.

Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

 1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

today started with a walk with my daughter.  after walking a mile i decided to run.  it felt great and had been way to long since i had tried.  i ran most of the way home.  all but one hill that i didnt feel like running up while pushing 35 lbs. 

so, i ran pretty close to three.  i will try again in a day or two.  felt great!!!

1 hour bike.  legs a bit sore from yesterday.  that is funny to me how i wasnt sore after 13 a month ago and now i am sore from 2.5.  its actually a depressing thought but oh well, such is life.

4 and i ran the whole way!!!  like i said tuesday, it is amazing how out of shape a person can get in a short amount of time even with doing my spin bike almost every day. 

anyway, felt good.  i have been running without my orthotics in my posted shoes.  hopefully that will work for me because if not i am most definately out of options.  it felt great to get out there again!!

walking today, started on my bike but my pedal is being weird again and that was a big part of why i had to take a month off from running.  cuz it hurt my hip.  BLAH!!!  so, went walking.  gotta find some more funds to fix the bike again and hopefully do it right this time!!

1/2 hour bike then a workout video.wanted to run but it was a late night and didnt want to wake up my daughter that early.
