I'm new to running scene.  My father, brother and brother-in-law have all ran marathons, so I thought I'd give running a try.

Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

 1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

I slept in for a half hour or so, so when I left it was already 70 degrees.  It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be though because I was in the shade most of the way.  

I kept a pretty slow pace.  It has been a while since I ran more than 5 (other than the half) so I wanted to make sure I had enough energy.   I felt good other than needing a bathroom break and having a few miles before I got to the park to use the bathroom there. 

Good run and hope to get some more miles ran then the last month or so, its been kinda pathetic.

Same 7 as sunday.  Ran in Nimbus again and knee is sensitive.  Looks like I am a Saucony girl.  That sucks cuz I have 2 brand new pair of Nimbus's.  Oh well, I can use them for short runs or walking maybe.

Ran with my dad today and we averaged 8:30's.  It is always nice to find out you can do more or better then you think you can.  We ran out to the Laverkin stake center then through the residential.  The same loop I have been doing when I have ran that way.

Always good to have company.
