I'm new to running scene.  My father, brother and brother-in-law have all ran marathons, so I thought I'd give running a try.

Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

 1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

Out to the Laverkin stake center and back again with Pah Tempe on the way home.  My knee hurt for the first block and then went away.  And after I turned around there was a pretty good head wind.  That is never fun. 

It was a slightly tough run though for some reason, not sure why.

I wish I had a better understanding of why some runs seem tough and some seem easy. Good job fighting the wind.

I am blaming it on the ice cream I ate last night. That way I will refrain from eating it more often...hopefully.
