AM:  75F, 86%.  6.5 mi.  Forgot Garmin again but it was a plod.  Same tomorrow as the FC weather is back.  A cold front will arrive by this weekend though, so it'll be the perfect opportunity for a Big Workout.  Might even see 59 degrees.

Here's the chart o' the month.  Pretty much shows why I'm light years ahead of last year after the 2013 Summer of Joe (at least I hope).  I have 4 races over a 6-week period so it's time to put up or shut up!

PM:  4 slow TM miles.

That gap is worth at least a light year. You had a really solid summer of training.

You kinda have me pumped about seeing these races. Great improvement Joe.

Is is possible to make 2014 The Summer of Joe, and go back and re-name last year?

From SlowJoe on Wed, Oct 01, 2014 at 14:51:06 from 168.215.171.129

Oh, Tom.. The Summer of Joe, much like the Great Depression, Dark Ages, Boy Band era, etc, must be remembered in its infamy for future generations to learn from its horrors and thus avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

I see you have some revisions to your schedule. 3 5ks is a good idea. You'll figure out how hard to push off of all the speed stuff you've done and you need at least two 5ks close to each other to get the effort right. My guess is that you improve each time (assuming roughly equal courses and weather).
