66F, 95%.  10 @ 7:23 AP.  4-mile pickup toward the end - 6:55, 6:38, 6:31, 6:16.  Felt ok, I guess.  It was humid and I got very little sleep.  Oh and I'm outa shape.  There...3 excuses is the sweet spot.

A good start, anyway, to my ultra 2-week ultra training plan for ultras.  Copyright pending.

That's a solid run with a very strong finish. You are not slow.

I use the 3 excuse pattern, too. Except when I am rushed, have bad phone reception, or just am too embarrassed about my run.

Those always work well, I mean except when I am hungry, have gas and the lawn work needs done.

Nice pace Joe... for someone out of shape, tired and humid conditions.

That's a strong pickup. The sweet spot weather must be coming soon, right? It's November here and it's been in the 70s the last few days. Seasonable . . . almost too seasonable! Far preferable to shoveling snow though.

I drive a pickup - the only way I could go as fast as not-so-SlowJoe.

Are you running Boston 2016?

From SlowJoe on Sat, Nov 07, 2015 at 18:33:10 from 107.77.66.93

Burt - nope, not this time

Thanks all - I'd write more but I'm tired, my phone is almost dead and I need to play Sorry with my daughter.

What are the chances that you'd run Texas Ragnar with me?

From SlowJoe on Sun, Nov 08, 2015 at 08:46:15 from 107.77.66.93

Burt - Absolutely! I didn't even know we had a Ragnar, looks like fun.
