45F.  7:47 AP.  Nice short run in Providence, with a few strides.

Drove a little of the course yesterday and went over Heartbreak Hill.  Didn't seem terrible, but definitely won't be welcome in mile 21.

Systems are go for tomorrow...looks like an east wind, but pretty light.  I'm thinking that with the crowds around, we might not even feel it.  Temperatures look to be really nice.  This is the race!

I think goal "A" is in huge trouble!

From seeaprilrun on Sun, Apr 14, 2013 at 14:32:04 from 68.102.189.33

you will be "the 2:50 guy" soon.

From Jason D on Sun, Apr 14, 2013 at 15:11:02 from 24.1.80.94

I imagine many people will go out too fast and suffer greatly. Do your own thing and pick off the stragglers. Weather looks quite good. MUCH better than last year. I'll be shirking my work duties as much as possible, watching, and tracking the race. Run hard and enjoy it, Joe.

"A goal" in the bag, Joe - enjoy the day!

10k done! Go Joe!

From Neil on Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 09:21:38 from 164.165.24.5

You're knee deep in the marathon right now but good luck. I wish I was on the course so I could yell "ridonkulous!" as you ran by but I missed my flight out of Augusta, GA.

From Tom K on Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 09:38:39 from 71.228.90.171

Is anybody watching this? Joe is holding his pace perfectly though 20k. Wow.

From ACorn on Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 11:11:43 from 71.213.40.95

The 2:58 guy. Glad you are okay, Joe. (Had to edit my comment here from earlier. On my afternoon run I realized it just sounded stupid)
