AM:  27F, NW 11 mph.  6 @ 8:42 AP.  Maybe the last sub-freezing day of the season....we'll see.  Still say I'm not ready for it to warm up yet.  I'll take an Oklahoma winter year-round.

PM:  58F.  8:33 AP.  New shoes - finally time to lay "1150s red #1" to rest at 1,020 miles.  These 1160s were 40 bucks including shipping so I couldn't pass em up.  It felt like I was running on stilts.

I hear ya ... after the last 2 days of running in 60's I could definitely notice a difference ... & it has hardly even begun to warm up! Not sure I could handle the OK winds though in those cooler.

Btw, your Boston bib # 3325

JG - hey, thanks - didn't know that info was out yet. Corral 4....that's a first! It's going to be cool having so many people going the same speed.

Yeah, Joe ... Corral 4 is awesome ... & definitely different from any other race. You just kind of fall in line & go with the flow, & presto ... You are at race pace! The alternative is to get run over. Lol

If I recall correctly from last year in corral 6 ... It took all of about 15 seconds for the pack to be cruising along at a sub 7:00 min pace ... I actually jumped off the side of the road & took a quick leak ... As I knew at 85 degrees I would not last long in that pack! :)
