Soccer game against a younger team so I ran quite a bit.  It felt good.  It's always fun to be able to out run the 20 somethings on the soccer field.  I know it's just because they aren't training properly but its still fun.  I'm going to count 4 miles although I think it was probably a bit more.

Left from my house and ran down to the JRP then I basically followed the Riverton 1/2 route.  I was amazed when I mapped the run that it is almost exactly a half marathon.  It would be interesting to run it with a garmin and see how close it is to map my run.  I ran 12.6 miles at an AP of 8:48 then I stopped and walked at the bottom of my hill to cool off.  My legs were tired and my shoes were soaked so I really didn't want to run the 1/2 mile straight up hill.  At this point I figured I was close to 13 miles but wasn't sure.  Now that I have mapped it I won't walk the last little bit to cool down I'll finish out the half and then walk around the block or something.  Oh well.

Great run.  I love this fall weather, although at about mile 8 the rains came and I got drenched.  I thought about stopping in at a gas station but figured I'd still have to finish so I just sucked it up and ran.  I think my shoes must have weighed atleast 5 pounds a piece.
