Met the BBK group at Parkway Pallisades this morning for a good tempo workout. Got there for the early miles so my AP was only an 8:30 even though I ran 4 miles pretty hard. I've decided the way I've been doing splits isn't very accurate of effort because I have just let my watch calculate pace every mile rather than for each segment of a workout so my hard miles are mixed in with recovery. I guess I'll have to figure out a better way. My splits were: 9:24, 8:58, 9:00, 8:48, 7:53, 8:34 (this mile must have included recovery because I know I ran faster than this. My best for this mile was a 7:04.), 7:41, 7:15, 5:01 (.55) Great Workout! |
