A chilly but gorgeous Monday morning in the NW. Ran 10+ miles with 10 strides thrown in for good measue. I've been reading Brad Hudson's book and I'm going to start supplementing my easy runs with strides and hill bursts 2-3 times per week. I'm also going to start doubling 2-3 times per week. I've noticed that if I do a couple of 10-mile runs in a day that I actually feel better and it may be a way to sneak in some extra miles.

Another good 10 miles this afternoon under sunny skies and warm temps. There is that bite in the air though as things cool off in the evening. Dark, rainy days are not far off...but great weather expected all week which I plan to take full advantage of. Shooting to do my workout tomorrow. |
