wow Scott - incredible, inspiring finish! congratulations, you're one gutsy dude!

From Mikal Epperson on Mon, Sep 09, 2013 at 18:19:06 from 67.172.247.190

That's awesome you found the strength to dig deeper and to persevere to the finish! The course is brutal on a good year and judging by all the DNF's, it was far from ideal! Way to go!

From Amiee on Mon, Sep 09, 2013 at 18:58:29 from 166.70.240.95

Ha! I was almost certain you wouldn't remember meeting me :) You were looking, well... quite how you described! That is so awesome that you were able to rally and finish as strong as ever!!! I mean seriously, moving up 59 places after 75 miles - sheesh! AMAZING JOB!

From Burt on Mon, Sep 09, 2013 at 19:28:49 from 174.26.216.83

Looks like you refused to quit. Great job!

From Neasts on Mon, Sep 09, 2013 at 22:38:39 from 75.169.60.81

Jeez, Scott, you've had some hard 100s so to hear you say this was your hardest is crazy! I echo everyone else above and am just so dang proud of you for doing something so amazingly difficult. (And way to be inspirational, Amiee!)

Another 100 miles under your belt, amazing! Great race report as usual, it was an epic story to read.

From Brandon on Thu, Sep 12, 2013 at 05:17:22 from 67.214.231.170

Love the report. Congrats Scott! You guys are all amazing.

From Chad on Thu, Sep 12, 2013 at 10:29:56 from 168.177.153.180

Way to fight through those demons. I can't imagine.

From Tara on Sun, Sep 15, 2013 at 19:43:04 from 75.169.139.210

So, I've read the report now, twice. Each time I have tried to comment, something has happened. I was so inspired by your dedication, support team and pure GUTS! No pun intended of course. I'd love to help support the next one in one way or another. Running up by the B was hell? Well, that's where I live, not hell, by the B:) Congrats to you!

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Sep 16, 2013 at 13:59:44 from 66.232.64.4

Thanks everyone!

Tara- For sure. You could pace or crew. Running would probably be more fun. :)

Hey, I have nothing against Bountiful, but I did feel like total crap running into that aid station. :)

From Christie on Thu, Sep 19, 2013 at 18:39:05 from 66.111.126.9

This is so impressive to me and must take such mental toughness to get through the 'hell,' as you put it :) 5th 100 miler... way to go!
