I have run once in the last 10 days and I still have some soreness in my achilles. This sucks! I did 35 min on the elliptical while watching the NBA finals. I thought I might do more, but I felt a twinge in the heel and stopped. If this doesn't get better in the next few days I'll probably go see a specialist. Any recommendations?

Sucks to have achilles issues. Unfortunately, my experience lies with chronic achilles problems. Let's hope yours is still acute.

Sorry to hear it isn't healing up! I thought you would come join us yesterday....I didn't know it was still giving you problems. Go eat a chocolate donut! :)

Go see Burt McCumber DDS. He's the best.

And sorry about the achilles!!

Steam- I can't run any hills (even Wire) right now. I definitely could use a Dunford.

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 19:22:21 from 66.239.250.209

Thanks for all of the sympathy everyone. :)

Merri- I thought McCumber was a proctologist.

Sorry! I bet you are feeling so stressed about keeping your miles and endurance up. I just feel bad! Are you going to see someone?

I had to go to the ER tonight due to my nice fall at the pool earlier today. I have to lay flat and for 3 to 5 days and if I am still having this type of pain I have to go in for an MRI!! SERIOUSLY...I was just getting back to running a few miles a day.

I think we both need a pepi and a chocolate donut! ha! I have had lots of refills this week but they have been out of my favorite donuts! :(

From Merri on Sat, Jun 11, 2011 at 00:17:05 from 160.7.252.148

oh yeah scott he is a proctologist I forgot. I've never been to see him though. and S8 sorry about the ER visit! bummer! get better soon.

From Burt on Sat, Jun 11, 2011 at 00:26:11 from 72.223.90.79

I'm not a proctologist but I do have to put up with certain bumholes on a daily basis.

From Steam8 on Sat, Jun 11, 2011 at 12:21:13 from 166.70.55.77

Burt! ahahaaa! I needed a good laugh today!

From PRE on Sat, Jun 11, 2011 at 20:58:07 from 99.50.214.225

Scott, Sorry to hear about your injury. You not being able to run hills - Difficult to comprehend. Hope you get well soon.

Well I don't think Burt works every day of the week - so at least he has a variety of bumholes he has to put up with on a daily basis. How boring it would be to deal with the same bumholes day in and day out. The weekend bumholes I am sure are much more entertaining than the weekday bumholes. I suspect they would be much more animated.

Haha!!! Nice peeps.

Steam- that's terrible. Keep me posted. I'm feeling really bad for you. Yes, I need a donut and DC or DP/Dew.

I'm feeling better today. I ran for the first time in a week and I felt good. Woohoo!
