Lake Mountain with Jsh, Rob, Nate, Jared:

Another excellent group and run to the top of Lake Mountain. I was really worried about the weather and I was up late checking the weather websites and it looked like we would be ok. I was really worried about the trail getting wet, but at 3:00 am I woke up to some pretty strong winds and it seemed to only get worse as the night went on. I was up at 6:00 and it was still blowing really hard, so I thought about cancelling, but I knew that once we got into the canyon we would be ok, so we went ahead and started at 7:00 am.

There was a little bit of mud the first mile, but it wasn't bad at all and once we got into the canyon the wind stopped exactly like I thought it would and he had an excellent run/hike to the top. The wind was blowing pretty hard on the upper mountain, but it wasn't terrible. We hit the top and took a few pics and then got the heck out of there.

The run down was fun. We all stayed together and just chatted the whole way down. My legs felt fresh all day and I was really happy with the run. It was a great morning out with good friends.

Good run, 2 days in a row, my legs have been pretty trashed for a few days afterwards.

I can't you believe that you did Lake Mountain 3x Sat-Sat. I am not worthy.

I think you guys would both be fine doing it two days in a row. When are we going to do our 'double up'? :)

If you're talking about the 20-miler up-down-up-down, how about when your legs are recovered from Buffalo? By then the idea might not make me want to cry.
