I went to the gym to lift tonight. I did 3 on the TM just to loosen up my legs, and then I didn't have enough time for a good lifting session. I did lift for 40 minutes, but it was crowded in there and I just wasn't able to work everything I wanted to, so I might go back tomorrow.
I also found out yesterday that I will be running/climbing Gannett Peak (highest peak in Wyoming) on Saturday. It will be 40-44 mles in some of the most scenic terrain in the US. I am really excited about this, but also kind of nervous. It will require us to carry in some climbing gear, so I am still not sure about what shoes to wear and what to carry. I may try crampons on my running shoes. If anyone has any experience with this let me know. |
