I decided to take a rest day yesterday, so my legs will be fresh for Sapper Joe on Sat. I'm just hoping the weather cooperates.
I got to bed late and then I had a terrible night sleep last night. I had just fallen into a deep sleep and my son woke me up, then after I dozed off again the dog woke me up because she had to use the bathroom and I never could get back into a good sleep all night. It was bad. I'm worried about getting enough sleep tonight because I will be getting up early again for the race tomorrow.
I got up early to lift at the gym and I did have a really good workout even though I was tired. I lifted for 45 minutes and did several sets of pull-ups as well.
