Draper BST with Jun, Jacob, Je10 and Neasts:

I met the group at 5:00 am at Hidden Valley Park. It was warmer than I thought it would be and I got hot after about a mile. We had an excellent group and I was really enjoying the conversation up to mile 3 where we stopped for a break. I started feeling some soreness in my left knee after about a mile and by mile 3 I could really feel it. It is the same knee that started hurting on the Buffalo 100. I don't think it is serious because I just walked about 15 miles in Vegas with my family and it didn't flare up at all, but I want to make sure that it doesn't turn into anything serious, so at mile 3.5 I decided I better turnaround and I was really bummed because we were having a great time.

I took it very slow on the way back and the pain did get progressively worse, but it was never terrible. I think I will be taking it easy for the rest of the week to make sure this calms down.

PM: Weights at the gym for an hour.

We were sorry to lose you out there this morning, but you know it's smart to play it safe when you're still hurting from your 100. Or any time, really. Get that thing healed up!

Smart move! No use risking anything at this point so enjoy the down time.
