| | Warmups, form mile and a mile warmup. Then we headed over to the grass for the workout. I did 4 special Ks before coach pulled me aside and told me to do distance. I fell off again which was discouraging but I think I hit faster times this time. Wind was crazy. Anywho, from now on anytime I fall off the pack I will be pulled from the workout. This will be good cause I struggled with staying with the group even high school so this will help me to get over that. It will give me added motivation to mind the gap! I also know that as I increase my mileage I will feel stronger and faster which will help my confidence grow and in turn I will BE stronger and faster! Will find out who's going to regionals tomorrow! I really want to go, but don't want to get my hopes up. I worked my hardest and will be happy with either outcome. |

| | I didn't want to get my hopes up but I did, I guess I'm just upset I let myself believe I had a chance. I know I should be positive but I'm frustrated with how this season went. It's hard to go from 4th to 8th/9th, but I am still grateful I was able to travel. I know some wanted to this year and didn't get to. I've decided that maybe I'm just not that great of a cross country runner, I guess I've never felt awesome during Cross Country, so I will just have to up my game next year and be super determined to have a good season. For right now I just have to prepare for track, I know that track is my thing so I am super stoked! Gonna build up mileage the next couple weeks! We don't have organized practices until the 23rd (?) but after that it's thanksgiving break, hopefully I can make it home in time to go to my cabin with the fam.

| | Started out the run and was still full from lunch but figured in a couple miles I'd be fine. It threatened to come up for about 5 miles but after that I was okay! I didn't care about pace and didn't look at it until 10 miles in, it was 8:03 average at that point I believe, and I felt pretty good! I decided I'd go a couple miles further. Legs didn't start to hurt until mile 11. So I'm in better shape than I thought :) it's just been so long since I've done more than 10 miles. 8:01 average.
