| | Speed. We did normal track warmup, then a mile, stretched, another mile, and a mile speed changes. Then we changed shoes and did a lap. Workout was 5x1000s, I was supposed to hit 3:35. Bill made me do two more because I didn't hit my time. My times were 3:33, 3:36, 3:34, 3:38, 3:48, 3:45, 3:37. The only reason the 3:37 counted was because it was on my 7th. It was really tough. By the end it felt like my legs were going to give out any second. After recovery they were okay but right when I stopped it felt like it. It was a hard workout but I'm glad Bill made me do more because I know it's important to hit my times. And I'm not going to miss state qualifying by a half second again, so it was necessary. Did a mile and a quarter cool down.

Alpha Invitational (1 Miles) 00:05:35 | | Today was the Alpha meet. I was racing the mile. I warmed up a mile, stretched a little, then a mile speed changes.
I wasn't ready for the pain in the race. I hadn't mentally prepared myself. So when it came, I slowed down. I had a terrible race. It was quite disappointing. I was dead last by like 100 meters. I also couldn't get myself to push, it was harder than it normally is.
Did two miles cool down.

Alpha Invitational (2 Miles) 00:12:08 | | Day two. I did a mile warmup, stretched, another mile, then a mile speed changes, then about another half mile waiting for them to call us to the line. I was more focused today but still did bad. I came through the mile at 5:42 then slowed down a lot I guess. In the second mile I couldn't get myself to move and it was really difficult. It was cold though so that sucked. Did a mile cool down with Eleanor and my blanket :)

| | Really busy day so not time for much. I was tired though from reffing little kids soccer games for four hours. I like the bigger kids best because they actually know what they're doing and it makes life easier.
