I had a final today so I had to do the workout on my own. It made it kind of difficult cause I was going off of feel and couldn't guage off of the group, but I managed to hit them all on pace. It's been a while since I've done speed too so I wasn't sure how accurate my "feel" of the pace would be but I did alright! I warmed up 2 miles then changed shoes, stretched and did 4 strides and began. Workout was 10x400s at 85 each with 90 seconds recovery. I did it active recovery cause I think that's how we're supposed to do it? Not sure. I hit 82,83,81,82,81,83,84,83,82,84. Cooled down 5.25 on canyon run. |
