I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Orchard loop with Jen. 3.5 mile unplanned tempo, a little icy in spots but we were careful. Eased into it with the first .5 6:30 pace. Then 6:16, 6:10, 6:12. Overall pace for the run was 6:58 which was pretty speedy considering the first mile was 8:02. The last tempo mile nearly killed me (very gradual uphill) but I'm happy we decided to do the workout. Thank goodness I have Jen to push me. I definitely earned myself some very easy jogging tomorrow!

20 minutes weights & stretching at home.

Holy Moly! I think all your workouts lately are 'unplanned' tempos :) Keep it up and you'll blow away any crazy PR's you have from last season. Jen is an awesome running partner, I wish I could keep up and run with you two.

From Jake K on Tue, Jan 29, 2013 at 16:18:37 from 155.100.226.191

Great run. Not that you haven't already figured this out, but you ran 18:30s for 3 miles on a cold slippery mid-week morning. That's moving! Just looking big picture at what you've done this month, I'd say you're well on your way to a HM PR at IMS. You've been hitting all the key elements, whether planned or not.

I agree with everything Jake said. I can't wait for you to race in AZ. 2012 was amazing for you & you are not slowing down!! Woohoo Kick ass Rachelle :)

From Matt Schreiber on Tue, Jan 29, 2013 at 20:12:58 from 66.17.102.185

Way to go Rachelle! Without the random slipperiness I'd have been impressed.....

From Bam on Wed, Jan 30, 2013 at 10:03:29 from 89.126.28.24

That's a sweet tempo, Rachelle. The way you're going, you'll blitz all your pr's this year.
