I planned on sleeping in and doing this workout in the light but I couldn't sleep so I just got up and got it done on the treadmill.  I'm so exhausted lately yet I can't seem to sleep...and I woke up with cold sores which I never get unless I am really stressed.  I feel like a basket case and I need to flipping pull it together!  The workout was fine and I honestly may have just needed the forced motion of the treadmill today.  2 mi warmup and then a 3 mile tempo 6:22, 6:15, 6:07, half mile jog and then a half mile in 3:00.  2 mile cooldown.

Totally been an insomniac too...i know i empathized with u yesterday too....i feel for you my friend...maybe after u race awesomely this sat you can sleep for a week and cut back on mileage. U have been going strong for nearly two years now. I can jog with you some time and drive to meet you of you need. Been a long time. I am running pain free and i am unsure of myself. A strange place to be after 11 months of pain...since last november. Let me know about getting togethwt for an easy friend. Miss ya :-)

I find that when I am very tired it sometimes really helps to get on the treadmill to get it done at the faster paces. Great run!

Julie - lets definitely get together. I love running....and this definitely is more of a life funk than a running funk. School+my brothers anniversary has just caused me a lot more stress than I anticipated.

April - so true about the treadmill. It makes running so easy.
