My goal is to continue to enjoy running and maybe get faster a long the way! :)
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run until I am 100 years old!
Personal:
I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences. I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn. I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University. 8 mile orchard loop with Julia. I did not look at the pace but I think it took like 1:07. Beautiful morning!
My legs feel fantastic but my back is so so sore from my fall Sat. I'm hoping I can shake this off and didn't do any major damage.

That must've been quite a fall. Hopefully it's just a bruise and goes away by the weekend.

I hope your back feels better soon!
I remember you were looking for wider shoes for your foot/feet problems. I don't know if you resolved that issue, but I stumbled across this article recently about a different lacing technique to allow more space in your forefoot and thought of you:

Scott - I fell classic skating Sat. I fell hard...like hard enough to evoke tears from my eyes. I initially thought it was my tailbone but it is definitely higher into my lower back.
Jackie - Thank you! I actually already lace all of my shoes that way...and it does help. :)
Andrea & Matt - Thank you!

I've crashed at VERY LOW speeds on skates and banged myself up. Luckily that was before getting back into running. I've since retired from figure skating :-)
