Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Woke up with an awful stomach ache this morning.  I generally have a stomach of steel so it was weird but I wasn't feeling any better tossing & turning in bed so I got up and went to the gym anyway.

30 minutes weights feeling kinda dizzy and like weaksauce.

7 miles very slowly on the treadmill.  Felt pretty weak the entire time but not too terrible.  I kept it way slow and actually felt worse after I stopped running.  I haven't eaten anything different than usual so I'm not sure what is going on.  Going to take it easy today and leave work early if I don't start feeling better.

So sorry, Rachelle! Best to get it out of your system now rather than the 16th. :)

Hope you are feeling much better by the time you read this.

Hey Rachelle - if you are feeling lousy tomorrow, push the workout to Sunday or Monday. You don't want to put yourself into recovery hole right now, and spend the last 7-8 days trying to get out of it. The hay is in the barn at this point, we just all have to be SMART. Even if you ran the 5K TT on Monday, that would be fine. Then just do a couple token MP miles later in the week, and you'll be good. But the main this is FEEL BETTER first! :-)

Rachelle, I had to b-line it to the potty x 2 on the TM this morning with stomach issues. It too made me feel weak. Something is going around. I say what Jake said.

Thanks everyone! Still feeling pretty sick but it just comes and goes. Weird! Anyway the new plan for tomorrow is to close the curtains, turn off the alarm, and sleep as long as I possibly can and then see how I feel from there.

I figure the longer I sleep the warmer it will get outside anyway. Plus I need to practice patience for the late Boston start time.
