Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Track workout!!  I'm still feeling a bit fatigued from Monday's hard tempo and I am planning another MP tempo for Friday so I knew I needed to keep the workout today relatively simple.

Decided on 15 x 200's with equal floating active recovery.  I kept the 200's between 42-45 seconds and felt good.  I really enjoyed this workout and feel like it wasn't too taxing on my body which was what I needed.

PM:  3 miles easy, felt good which is a good sign that I didn't push the workout this morning.

Aren't 200s the best?!

Great choice for the workout today. You are well-aware that I am a fan of this kind of session... but I'm glad you liked it! Mentally its easier to only have to focus for 40 seconds at a time, and its fun to run fast! :-)

Yes it was my first attempt at 200s and I loved it. Plus there was a HS kid that was trying to keep up with me and I kept dropping which was a major boost for my confidence. hehe :)

I would really like to try this kind of workout sometime, maybe in a month or so! Great job Rachelle!!!

good job Rachelle. One can do anything for 40 seconds right? :D

except a 40 second steroid shot ; D. 5 seconds was all I could handle. seriously though I love to read about your wonderful progress.
