Skipped the track workout this morning because my calfs are still feeling tight. I'd like to blame the soreness on the race Monday but I honestly think it is a residual effect of wearing the Kinvara's for the LR Sat. My calfs were way tight during the race monday too! After the marathon I am planning to figure out a way to ease my body into lighter weight shoes.
Anyway 5.4 miles easy. The weather was perfect this morning.
Planks/pushups and then 15 min cooldown on the elliptical.
PM: 2 miles easy with the pups (yes plural I am dogsitting) at the track. Yay for school being out and no one being at the track. I wanted to go longer but settled for a nice 1 mile walk instead. Blasted my music as loud as I could so I didn't have to listen to the pups yap at each other. |
