Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Lots of foam rolling, stretching, icing, cleaning the house, watching the news.  I cannot sleep!  I don't think it has anything to do with the marathon because it has been going on for awhile but it is annoying...at least I am getting some house work done.

Spanish Fork river trail with my sister, 9:17 pace.  It was lovely!

Oh ya it was. So cool you can run with her. Wonder what is up with the sleep thing? I am just not getting to bed as early as I used too. My house is buzzing until late. Makes it hard. I start to crash around 10:30 though. For me, it's just the extra long days of sunshine. I feel way more energy this time of the year.

See you in the a.m. at your house :)

It was so fun to see you this am Lily. :) I'm not sure whats up with the sleep thing it started a couple weeks ago when I was super stressed at work and I thought it was just because of that. But it's just not getting better....I think a lot of it is just Summer and the sun coming up earlier. I just get excited to be out running in the nice weather.

Can't wait to see you tmr. Jen is even getting a babysitter to come. :)

Have fun with the marathon this weekend! The good thing about insomnia is that you get a lot of things done and have plenty of time for foam rolling :)

It sounds like a relaxing day! Minus the sleep deprivation. I hope you are at least feeling rested!

Glad you are taking it easy...and getting stuff done :)

I know you don't know me, but I will be running the race as well. What is your goal for the race? I am hoping for a 2:55. I hope you do well.

Come Run, Come All - 2:55-2:56 is kind of the game plan. I'd love to hang with you if your interested. I can talk your ear off and by the half way point you'll be so sick of me you'll fly past me. :) Look for me at the start.

That will be perfect. I also have another friend I will be running with that wants to do sub 3. We could have a running party. I will be the bald one with the white Soujourners Running Club tank on and shorts :). I'm sure I will be easy to find.

Awesome! I have a friend that will probably join us as well. My plan is to hopefully conservatively hit the half around 1:27-1:28. Glancing over your workouts, races, ect I think you are definitely in shape for 2:55. :) See you at the start.
