Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Downtown Payson loop.  I ran one faster mile just to see if I could and it turns out I can - 6:56.  Minimal effort to hit that pace so I think that is a good sign.  Overall AP for the run was much faster than my normal recovery 8:05.  I am feeling good post marathon but still feel as though my legs are lacking that "bounce" in their step.  I will take 2 more easy days and then maybe attempt a mini workout this weekend.  I will play it by ear and see how I feel.

Can someone please explain to me how to steal my proofs from Boston off of the website?  Please and thank you!

PM:  2 miles easy.   Felt pretty tired which is hopefully just a result of staying up too late last night.

Take screenshots (Print Screen button on your keyboard).

If you have Picasa installed on your computer, you can just leave it running in the background, then hit print screen continually as you open up the proofs. Picasa will store them all in a folder conveniently called "Screenshots" and you can easily crop them all from from there.

"Print Screen" works but you have to deal with the copyright logo that is pasted across the image. If you are happy with pictures, the race was memorable enough to justify the $80 to download all of them.

Nice run Rachelle! I did the screen shot thing.

Thanks guys! I knew I was making it harder than it needed to be. I may end up ordering a few. My parents weren't able to get any pictures of the race....they said I was going to fast. haha!

Nice job today. When you're feeling better lets talk and set up a day or 2 where we can run together. I'd love the company! :)

I'll have to remember the screen shot thing!

Nice run this morning and I'm glad to see your legs are recovering well! Nice work on that speedy mile.

off the subject....Rachelle do you run in mizuno wave riders or another wave??? I just got a pair of wave rider 14 on sale and I saw your long distinguished list. I am on the quest to the perfect shoe/trainer.

From Rachelle on Wed, Apr 25, 2012 at 18:47:27 from 66.7.127.115

Julie yes I have a couple pairs of Mizuno's but I do not think they are the wave riders? I'm not sure....I wear the ones with the extra support because over pronate slightly.

My favorite pair of shoes right now is definitely the Saucony Mirage! They are light weight but still offer a lot of support. Plus you can almost always find them on Overstock or Running Warehouse for $50.00.

Go mirage! I bought the pics last year, but I think the cash is going to another marathon entry this year.
