After sitting all day and flying for 7+ hours I desperately needed to work some of the lactic acid out of my legs. I jogged/shuffled 2 miles: 9:35 pace.
Physically I feel pretty darn good. I think the rolling hills of Boston make for easier recovery than the downhill UT races I am used to. I am sunburnt pretty bad and my quads are definitely sore. My feet are also still a little tender but other than that I feel good. With that said I know I still need to be smart and allow for plenty of recovery. |
