9 miles this morning with 8 x 1 minute on/off intervals. on's were around 6:15-6:30 pace and recovery was 8:34. Nothing too wild and crazy.
I am obviously not tapering for the half marathon I am running this weekend and have decided just to make it a part of my training. It is a tough course and the weather is looking anything but ideal so it will be a good character building run I suppose. My plan is to make it a marathon paced tempo run and get a good warmup/cooldown to get 20 miles in. Should be a good workout no matter what.
PM: 3.3 miles with the pup. Best run I have had with the pup in such a long time. There was no one on the trail and it was such a nice night. |
