9.5 treadmill miles. I am not really training for anything right now but running slow on the treadmill is ridiculously mind numbingly boring so I decided to do 12 x 400 just for fun. Why not?
3 mile warmup - 8:12 pace
12 x 400 on/off style with equal recovery. first 4 with 1% incline, next 4 .5% incline, and last 4 0% incline. On's @ 6:10-5:49 (9.9-10.3) pace and off's @ 8:27 (7.1-7.3).
9.5 mi in 71 minutes, 7:28 AP.
PM: 4 miles outside easy. Does anyone down south want to run with me tomorrow morning? I cannot fathom the thought of another day on the treadmill! |
